“Jesus was cool, but, like, we can’t claim he was perfect. Look at those times when he turned the tables upside down, or called people hypocrites, or said stuff like ‘how long must I do all this without you believing enough to do it yourself’, and lying to his friends to get to that big city in secret. And stuff.”
- Yeah, but, what if he was right. Like, what if justice was warranted then. What if it was the right thing to say. What if kindness would’ve been weakness. He knew their very minds when he did what he did. Knowing their minds he chose the most optimal course of action which was, not pointless kindness, but decisive statements. What if he wasn’t only cool for being kind and healing people and dying for people, but he was also cool for hitting the nail on the head, being confident, decisive and strong.
And then,
“The Bible can be used to make tons of arguments and bring counter-arguments to them too. so what is true. What is real?
- ‘think just about everything. There are arguments against a lot of stuff. And for a lot of stuff. So sometimes God speaks to you by making some arguments, other times by saying that they don’t apply.
